Individual customers using the service should select "Family High-speed Type" or "Family Type," or the "Mansion-High-speed Type" or "Mansion Type".♦ For Individuals or SOHO
Even more convenient with increased communication speeds, all at the same price! Services areas with up to 1 Gbps *1 can be shared between a number of customers. This service is for customers living in mansions such as multi-unit mansions. The Mansion High-speed Type is provided using an Optical Wiring System. The communication speed within the customer's residence is up to 200 Mbps *1 download (receiving data) and up to 100 Mbps upload *1 (sending data).
*1 Up to 1 Gbps indicates the maximum transmission speed on the access section between the NTT EAST local switch and the optical network unit (ONU) installed at the subscriber's residence. The transmission speed of the subscriber is up to 200 Mbps. "Up to 1 Gbps" and "up to 200 Mbps" indicate maximum values based on technical standards. The actual Internet connection speed may be lower depending on factors such as the subscriber's usage environment and line congestion.
*2 Connection sessions are made via PPPoE over Ethernet.
In order to use the "FLET'S HIKARI NEXT" High-speed Type plan, customers must live in an applicable service area. For details make an enquiry by telephone.
A service for multiple subscribers to share an access section at up to 1G (Giga) bps*1. The service is mainly for subscribers who live in single-units.
