What is HIKARI DENWA?
- To use HIKARI DENWA, you need to have a FLET'S HIKARI contract (FLET'S HIKARI NEXT or B FLET'S). (A contract charge, an installation fee, and a monthly charge apply separately.).
*1 Savings may not be available if only short calls are made or depending on which discount services the subscriber signed up for.
*2 Existing phones and phone numbers may not be able to be used in some cases. Separate installation charges will apply if existing phone numbers are used as they are.
*3 During a power outage, it is not possible to make emergency calls. For example, numbers such as 114(Busy Signal Verification) and others cannot be dialed.
*1 These charges are for 3 minutes for local calls, long distance calls, Inside-prefecture and Outside-Prefecture calls and for 60 seconds for international calls and calls to mobiles on working days between 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. when a subscriber uses NTT communications for calls to outside the prefecture and NTT EAST for Local calls and Inside-Prefecture Long Distance calls. The call charges may vary depending on the call duration and whether the subscriber has subscribed to the discount service. The consumption tax does not apply to the international call charges.
*2 Charges differ for the Videophone service and DATACONNECT.
*3 It is a comparison with a long distance call made from a subscriber line to a place within the prefecture (NTT EAST, call beyond 60 km).
*4 It is a comparison with a call made from a subscriber line to outside the prefecture (NTT Communications, call beyond 100 km).
*5 It is a comparison with a call made to a mobile phone from a subscriber line without adding "0036" before the number.
*6 It is a comparison with an international call (NTT Communications) made from a subscriber line.
A Discount Set Plan, "HIKARI DENWA A (ACE)"!
A set of 6 additional services with calling allowance*1 corresponding to max. 3 hours Monthly Charges: 1,575 yen (tax included)* Subscribers with Mansion Type systems will be charged a HIKARI DENWA router use charge of 472.5 yen (tax included)/month if they use the rental HIKARI DENWA router provided by NTT EAST.
*1 This applies to calls to subscriber lines of NTT EAST and NTT WEST, INS-Net lines and HIKARI DENWA lines. Calls to cellular phones, etc. are not eligible. (Does not apply to calls made to cell phones) Call charges included in the Monthly Charge are calculated based on 8.4 yen (tax included) per 3 minutes for voice calls, 15.75 yen (tax included) per 3 minutes for Videophone calls up to 2.6 Mbps bandwidth usage, and 105 yen (tax included) per 3 minutes for Videophone calls that exceed 2.6 Mbps bandwidth usage, and apply from the month after the subscriber starts using the service. Call charges for calls that exceed the calls included in the Motto Anshin Plan and Anshin Plan are 7.56 yen (tax included) per 3 minutes for voice calls, 14.175 yen (tax included) per 3 minutes for Videophone calls up to 2.6 Mbps bandwidth usage, and 94.5 yen (tax included) per 3 minutes for Videophone calls that exceed 2.6 Mbps bandwidth usage. If HIKARI DENWA A (Ace) is selected when signing up for a new contract, charges will apply from the month following the month that includes the day the subscription starts. If the subscriber changes plans after they start using HIKARI DENWA, the charges will apply from the month following the month that includes the day of the application for the change.
*2 Any unused calling allowance will be invalid in the following month.
*3 To use the Caller ID Display (Number Display) service, you need to have a number display-compatible phone.
*4 It is not possible to subscribe to the Double Channel service or the Videophone service and the Call Waiting (Catch Phone) service at the same time when HIKARI DENWA is used with B FLET'S. It is possible to subscribe to the HIKARI DENWA A (Ace) service and Double Channel service or Videophone service at the same time, however it is not possible to use the HIKARI DENWA A (Ace) Call Waiting (Catch Phone) service.
*5 If a subscription has been made to the FAX Notification Mail service, it is not possible to subscribe to the Call Forwarding (Voice Warp) service using the same phone number. It is possible to subscribe to the HIKARI DENWA A (Ace) service and FAX Notification Mail service at the same time, however in this case, it is not possible to use the HIKARI DENWA A (Ace) Call Forwarding (Voice Warp) service using the same phone number. If there is a subscription to the My Number contract, the FAX Notification Mail service and Call Forwarding (Voice Warp) service can be used at the same time with a different phone number.
* If changing the HIKARI DENWA plan from HIKARI DENWA A (Ace), the basic charge (1,071 yen (tax included)) for the HIKARI DENWA A (Ace) plan will be charged at a pro-rate. The pro-rate will not apply to the remainder of the monthly charge after deducting the basic charge.

*1 Separate compatible equipment is required to use this service. Subscribers who use HIKARI DENWA with FLET'S HIKARI NEXT but have not used the Videophone service or High Quality Phone Call service by May 31, 2010, must sign up for the Videophone service, the High Quality Phone Call service or DATACONNECT separately.
*2 Subscribers who use HIKARI DENWA with B FLET'S can sign up and use the standard quality Videophone service.
*3 It is not possible to use this service if the subscriber uses HIKARI DENWA with B FLET'S.
