Hikari Denwa is a new phone service that uses the B-FLET'S network instead of traditional phone lines. B FLET'S IP phone service provides a number of convenient value-added features while allowing the customer to use his same phone and phone number.

1.  For international calls, Hikari Denwa uses services by T-Systems Japan K.K. It is not possible for you to select your own international communications company. 2.  For comparison, calling from a fixed-line phone without using "0036" to a mobile phone (such as TU-KA outside the service area) is much more expensive than using the Hikari Denwa service to place the call.

Hikari Denwa is an IP phone service that uses the B FLET'S network. If you are connected to B FLET'S, you can use the Internet and IP phone service together on one line.

With Hikari Denwa-compatible equipment, you can use the phone and the Internet. You can use your current phone number and phone just as they are. The subscriber line is suspended. * Hikari Denwa has usage considerations such as not being able to call certain numbers. Check here for details.

• To use the Hikari Denwa service you must sign up for B FLET’S Hyper Family Type, Mansion Type, or Mansion Type Advanced Support. This service is not available if the Mansion Type or Mansion Type Advanced Support uses a PNA system or a wireless system to connect to the B FLET’S network. • Using Hikari Denwa requires a Hikari Denwa-compatible router recommended by NTT East. A router for a multi-dwelling unit (B FLET’S Mansion Type) requires a separate additional service charge of ¥472.5 (tax incld.). • When using the Hikari Denwa service, NTT East employs the services of NTT-ME Corporation for inter-prefectural calls and T Systems Japan K.K. for international calls.
